Cathal Carolan is a photographer based in Ireland.
Cathal's photography has gained international recognition, with his work displayed in galleries within Europe and Asia. Cathal spent several years living in Japan, immersing himself in the culture through his camera. His passion for street photography flourished in Tokyo, where his work earned attention for its distinct style and feel. Cathal was invited to join the Tokyo Streets photography collective and participated in their inaugural exhibition in Shibuya, showcasing his work alongside some of Tokyo's most renowned photographers.
Last year, Cathal returned home to Ireland and has been actively showcasing his work through exhibitions and magazines. In September, he held his largest solo exhibition as part of Culture Night in his hometown of Drogheda.
